Fly off to Florida: Long-time resident wanted to sell her condo, and achieve her dream of living her retirement years near her best friend in Palm Beach. She needed time to find just the right condo in her price range, time to transition from her current career, time to pack up her things, and time to enjoy summer with loved ones on the Cape. We helped her organize, pack and stage her home, utilizing storage space to make her home feel light and uncluttered. We developed a unique marketing strategy, that resulted in a a full price offer, which allowed her to close in the spring, and rent back from the new owners for the entire summer. Using the proceeds of the sale of her home, it was only a few weeks before she purchased her new condo at a fair price, from an elderly owner, and had time and funds to make renovations to her new home prior to moving in. It was a perfectly timed home sale – home-purchased process, that enabled her to transition her job to remote, and continue to work for her long-time employer, and take time to do the it in a low-stress manor, all while enjoying summer on the Cape and the Fall in the Florida sunshine in her beautifully refreshed condo!
Changing Family Needs: A couple with a baby on the way, purchased a small single family home near Cambridge St in Beacon Hill. Working with Pauli & Uribe Architects (pauli-uribe.com) and Brian Lafuace, Archright Custom Builders (archwright.com), the home was completely renovated to the highest standards of style, safety and modern conveniences. As the family dynamics changed, they purchased a second home in Stowe, VT, and decided that the Beacon Hill home did not fit their evolving needs. We sold the “jewel box” home to lovely new empty nesters from the suburbs who long dreamed of living in the city. We later resold the home to a small family with a son who attended school on Cambridge St. This luxurious, light-filled home was the highest price per square foot single family home under $3M in Beacon Hill.
Empty Nesters Move Back To Boston: Beautiful family with two adult kids had outgrown the need for a 4 bedroom home with a pool and amazing gardens on a cul-de-sac in North Andover. Perfectly appointed with great light and layout, we enhanced the staging of the home with original artwork from Boston artist Oneil (theoneilstudio.com) and brought in orchids, and large-scale flower arrangements for the high ceiling entry way, as well as planters of evergreens, bulbs, and hydrangea to showcase the pool area in the early spring. We developed a pre-marketing plan to generate tremendous buyer interest, and held three very well attended open houses, before putting the home under agreement for full price, to a lovely family who would modify the game-room basement floor to work well for her mother to live full time in retirement.
