Back Bay

A compassionate and intellectual couple in their 60’s returning to Boston, after careers in Portland, OR and Philadelphia , wanted a light filled home with an elevator in the Back Bay. They knew the city well, were handy and experienced in renovation projects. They purchased a home with a classic apartment layout, in a grand apartment building that had been converted to floor-thru condominiums, and worked with a recommended contractor to gut renovate the kitchen and both baths.

 

They were both active members of their church, community, club and condo board. Nearly a decade later, they had each authored books, and decided move back to Philly to be closer to family. We did extensive marketing to obtain multiple offers, and negotiated contract with an extended close, that allowed them several months of extra time to pack and move that their leisure. A well-loved home!
