A woman in her 60’s wanted to achieve her dream of retiring to Florida. Her well-kept condo had great light with a separate office and guest room, and she needed to get the highest possible price in order to be able to purchase her new home. We helped her envision her next step, and she decided to put her home on the market months before she was ready to move. We marketed to a variety of prospective buyers, particularly young professionals, and we carefully orchestrated the timing or showings and open houses to provide the maximum sales activity. We ensured that prospective buyers had time to get their mortgage pre-approoval, and negotiated a contract that allowed the seller close, and obtain the funds she needed to begin her Florida home search, while staying her current home for 3 month, renting back from the new owner.
